Show Opening Times:  12pm - 4pm

Eating & Drinking:  Oran Mor has 2 bars and 2 restaurants.  The Brasserie Restaurant uses Scottish produce wherever possible, freshly prepared by an in-house team of chefs. Bar meals are also served in the Whisky and Victorian Bars, incorporating the John Muir Room restaurant.

There is disabled access throughout the building

Nearest Cashline:  Opposite Oran Mor on the corner of  Waitrose Supermarket, Byres Road.

How to get here:  Oran Mor is easily accessed by car, bus, subway or train.  Its 731 - 735 Great Western Road which is at the top of Byres Road opposite the Botanic Gardens, G12 8QX - MAP

By Car:  There is parking space off many of the surrounding side streets. Most areas have parking meters employed. There is a car park next to Lillybank Gardens, just off Great George Street and another at the corner of Byres Road and University Avenue.

By Underground:  Hillhead Station is situated right in the middle of Byres Road, just next to Ashton Lane. Making it the most convenient spot to disembark.  Head out the station and turn right heading to the top of Byres Road and you will see a beautiful old church which is now Oran Mor!  

By Bus:  A whole host of different buses from different operators pass up, down, through and pretty close by Byres Road right next to Oran Mor. There is no doubt more than what's listed below but here's a pretty complete guide.

44/44A: From Knightswood to Byres Road at the University and onwards to the City Centre.

20/20A: Drumchapel to Byres Road at the Botanic Ganrdens then on to the City Centre.

9: Drumchapel to bottom of Byres Road and Dumbarton Road then on to City Centre.

66: Mountblow to Byres Road at the Botanic Gardens then on to City Centre.

89/90: Royal Infirmary in the South Side through Byres Road then bypassing the City Centre and returning to the South Side and to the Royal Infirmary.

16/16A: Blairdardie to bottom of Byres Road and Dumbarton Road then on to City Centre.

62: Faifley to bottom of Byres Road and Dumbarton Road then on to City Centre.

18: Summerston then right down Byres Road from the Botanics to Dumbarton Road then on to the City Centre.

By Train:  The closest station is Partick about a 10min walk down Dumbarton Road to reach the lower end of Byres Road, Head up to Oran Mor.
